Sabian Introduces Bigger Crashes and Hi-Hats

Bigger Sizes for Players Seeking Bigger Sounds....

In response to popular demand, SABIAN has introduced a variety of larger sized hi-hats and crashes. AAX X-Celerator Hats and newly introduced HHX X-Celerator Hats – both featuring an innovative ‘Air Wave’ bottom cymbal that increases response rates and boosts clarity – are now available in 15-inch sizes. The HHX Evolution O-Zone Crash, HHXplosion Crash, AAXplosion Crash, and the newly introduced AAX O-Zone Crash are available in 20-inch sizes.

“We were receiving so many requests for bigger hat and crash sizes,” said SABIAN master product specialist Mark Love, “that we designed larger sizes in some of our most popular models. The larger size of the 15” X-Celerator Hi-Hats means there is more metal in play, and the contact area between the top and bottom cymbals is greater, for sounds that are bigger and louder, but still extremely precise and cutting. With their multi-holed design, O-Zone crashes, though bigger, are still comparatively light and very responsive, for sounds that are fast and bright, but with a slight edge of agitation. The AAXplosion Crash is fast, with a big and full bright sound.”
