Ozzy Osbourne, and now Ministry Returns to SABIAN
Jimmy DeGrasso, one of rock’s most prolific hard rock drummers,
with credits including David Lee Roth, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Ozzy
Osbourne, Suicidal Tendencies and more has joined the SABIAN International
Artist Program.

Having heard some of the many innovations introduced by the company
in recent years and noting they were extremely adventurous and daring
by anyone’s standards, DeGrasso was keen to make the change, according
to Christian Stankee, SABIAN artist relations manager (USA West).

“I played every major brand of cymbals over the years,
including SABIAN,” said DeGrasso. “And now I’m
back to SABIAN because the direction of the company in terms of
innovative new concepts has grown so much over the years. It’s
the same great cymbal maker, but its ideas and designs are a million
miles ahead of where they were fifteen years ago, and way ahead
of anyone else now. That innovative spirit and ability of the
SABIAN Vault Team to nail exactly what drummers are looking for
is what impressed me.”

drummers. His global touring with the rock and metal greats means
he’s recognized everywhere, from Barcelona to Beijing and
