Music Live 2007 - Music Technology
Native Instruments Guitar Rig and Steinberg Sequel:
a big hit at the NEC...
Early November and the UK's biggest music-making event hit the NEC,
Birmingham with the Arbiter team presenting the big-hitting products.
Dominating one corner of the show, the Arbiter Music Technology area
(located conveniently near the "Sound City Bar"!) showed how
cutting-edge technology is within easy reach of every musician.
Godi (demonstrator for Native Instruments) plugged his Italia
Speedster 1 into the new Guitar
Rig 3 and had the versatility - and a range of musical tones -
to surpass all the other amp and effects products at the show put together
- all from within Guitar Rig 3's simple drag-and-drop interface on his
laptop computer!
Across the way, Arbiter's Alex Theakston was busy showing
how easy it is for anyone to record and produce a professional quality
song using Steinberg Sequel
- and at a very low price. Aided by Kevin Billett (playing CME's new
M-Key
controller keyboard) and Bryan Borcherds (playing a selection of Arbiter's
new Italia and First Act guitars) live music was recorded into Sequel
and edited. Infact, the CME
M-Key keyboard and Sequel combination proved so popular with
the audience that the show's retailer soon sold out!
A big thanks to everyone who came to Music Live 2007 and
watched our presentations and discussed the latest technology with us.
We look forward to meeting you again!
