Incubus has gone through an
evolution of musical changes throughout their 12-year
history. After a long absence, the band has been writing new
material and currently on tour with their long awaited album
'A Crow Left Of The Murder'. The innovative talent of
Incubus includes drummer, Jose Pasillas in the drumseat -
he's caught during soundcheck at the S.E.C.C., Glasgow,
Scotland performing to die hard fans with 'live' favourites
like 'Drive', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Nice To Know You', 'Are
You In' and their current single offering 'Meglomaniac'.

Jose digs big ride sounds,
so he often includes a 20" AAX Studio Crash and a 20" HHX
Studio Crash, which he plays as rides. Both cymbals sound
huge, with the AAX giving him a brighter sound, the HHX a
darker tone... Bright, Dark... two totally different sounds!
Combining these big crashy/ridey sounds with his punchy
crashes and small splashes gives him a really dynamic sound.
If you can, check out the SABIAN HHX ad of Jose that appears
in a number of leading drum magazines.
