After Christina Aguilera's worldwide
success with her current album 'Stripped' she hits Wembley Arena
on the UK leg of her world tour. Drummer Brian Fraser-Moore
and percussionist Ramon Yslas for Christina Aguilera arrived
at Wembley Arena for the recording of Christina Aguilera's live
DVD. The band were on fire adding to an awesome stage performance
including versions of 'Genie In A Bottle' and 'Dirty' to the
ballads, 'Beautiful' and Etta James' 'At Last' where she showed
off her considerable vocal talents. Both Brian and Ramon are
the backbone of rhythm locking down the groove and cleverly
weaving in and out of keyboard sequencing and machined beats
- certainly impressive stuff!
Taking the main support slot was Black Eyed Peas who put in
a 45-minute performance. The band wowed the audience with
their brand of rap ultimately slamming the audience with
their chart hit ''Where Is The Love?' and their brand new
single 'Shut Up' both can be found on their album,
'Elephunk'.
Drummer, Keith Harris is the man in the drum seat and still
fairly new on the circuit; he is another one of those
drummers who will find his place under the 'new breed'
banner. He has the 'chops' and 'grooves' and will definitely
surprise us in 2004 - take note of his name.
My prediction is that this band is destined for higher
ground in 2004.
